Partial Gastrocnemius Muscle Resection

This calf reduction surgery method cut out muscles part selectively and only excise the prominent muscles part pierce by pierce. With this method, the sculpturing not only made to medial gastrocnemius muscle, but also can be done to other muscles (lateral and soleus) too if needed, to achieve the best result.

This method gives more accurate result, since the location and volume of muscles to be removed is controllable.

Residual postoperative scars are unavoidable, which need quite a bit of time to fade away.

Long post-operative recovery time also required. Normal calf muscle power will be regained in 6 to 12 months.

There is complication possibility such as : hematoma, numbness of leg, irregularity, and nerve injury.
